Must be 8 year or over and under 12 years old on the day.

1. Current BJA contest rules will apply and the decision of the Tournament Director will be
final.
2. A Parental Waiver must be signed for all players. The waiver cannot and must not be
signed by a coach or club official.
3. Although this is an open competition it is also a friendly one. We are trying to
encourage all less experienced players into the competitive arena and we feel that a
small local competition is the best way to achieve this. For this reason we will not be
accepting any National Medallists. Please respect the decision.
4. We would like to remind Club Coaches / Managers, that they are responsible for the
actions of their players and supporters both on and off the mat. Any action against the
Spirit of Judo could result in disciplinary action and all members of the club being
disqualified and requested to leave the centre.
5. The organisers of the event will not be responsible for any loss, damage or personal
injury during the course of this event.
6. In the event of insufficient entries the Organisers reserve the right to combine weight
categories.
7. In line with the BJA Child Protection Policy, the Organisers of this event request that
any person wishing to engage in any video or photography must register their details
with staff at the tournament control desk before carrying out any such photography
(The use of mobile phone cameras is not allowed).
