ME - Caroline Louise Kinnane
Judo Black Belt 2nd Dan

While building this web site with the with the much appreciated help and donation of a small local company, I was asked to write a few pages about me for inclusion into the web site.

My name is Caroline Kinnane. I am a Judoka. I have been practicing and competing in Judo since the age of 11. My Life is Judo. I am currently in FULL swing of my competitive Judo career. Lovin' every moment.

Along with Judo I work in a demanding full-time professional career as a care-assistant in a dementia ward in an elderly home. I am looking to gain a physiotherapy qualification to help better myself professionally and benefit my Judo career.

Judo gives me a great sense of achievement as I always aim for success, if it be in competition, coaching or the 61 Judo Clubs Progress. Judo is so much fun for me Because the people I meet are great, it makes my aspirations enjoyable to achieve.

This is a great sport but as everything it comes with the highs and the lows, staying dedicated and focused on what I want to achieve is how I keep progressing from day to day. Judo gives me, among all these other things sore shoulders! It's all part of the game we Judo players play in becoming what we hope to be. . . . . OLYMPIC No 1.

I believe, along with my continued years of hard work and my high standard of results that I have the potential to be a competitive Gold Medal winner in the world of Judo. One of the reoccurring problems I face is being able to afford to travel around the world to compete, and train in foreign locations, representing my country, myself, and my club at the olympics..

My Dreamz
GOLD - I aim for Gold
in competitions and all
aspects of my Judo Career

I'm aiming to fight for Great
Britain and at the London 2012 Olympics
